What happens at my first appointment? When you arrive for your appointment, I will ask you to complete and sign a record card. This includes your contact details, vets details and health and behaviour information. We will then examine your dog together and discuss its grooming requirements. Once grooming needs have been decided on, I will give you a price and a pickup time. I will also provide you with my de-matting and flea policy for you to read and sign.
-
Do you take photos?Occasionally a picture of your dog may be taken, both before and after as well as sometimes during the groom. These are for business purposes, mainly social media and on my website. Please let me know if you do not give consent for photos of your dog to be used in this way.
-
Are dogs given any treats?I often give treats as a reward, so if you dog has a special diet or medical condition which does not permit this, please let me know. You are also welcome to bring your own treats or/and a favourite toy to make them feel more at home.
-
Do you have a cancellation policy? If you can’t make your appointment, please give me 24 hours’ notice to allow me to re book the appointment.

What should I do if my dog behaves badly? If your dog becomes aggressive or unmanageable you may be asked to collect him or her. This would be worst case scenario and I will endeavour to work with your dog to achieve the best groom possible.
